Who We Are

Our Story

I’m Helga Heins, founder of Insight Studio. I studied architecture in Colombia and I have spent over a decade designing buildings, five of those years in the UK. That background gives me a sharp eye for detail, proportion, and what matters in a space.

I’ve worked across a wide range of projects, from heritage-listed buildings and new-build homes to large-scale commercial developments. Whether it’s restoring a Georgian façade or shaping a modern retail space, I understand the design, technical and storytelling demands behind each brief.

That’s the advantage of coming from architecture: I don’t just create pretty pictures, I visualise spaces with purpose. That experience also has taught me how to read between the lines of a floor plan and spot the spatial issues that might look fine in 2D but won’t work in reality. It’s one of the strengths I bring to every collaboration with architects and developers.

Every project is unique, and so is the visual strategy behind it. Some need atmosphere whilst others require clarity. The underlying factor behind all of them, however, is that they need to look great, function well and most importantly, never feel boring.

At Insight Studio, we combine creative thinking and visual precision to create CGIs that speak your language, whether you're pitching to clients, submitting for planning, or selling off-plan.

Our Process

At Insight Studio, our visualisation and design process is a collaborative journey with our clients. We start by understanding your vision and requirements, then move on to conceptualising and refining the visualisations.

Discover & Define
We start by understanding what kind of visual support you need, still images, animations, photomontages, 3D floor plans or all of the above. We’ll review any drawings, references, or materials you provide, and define a clear, project-specific brief during our first conversation.

Visualise & Refine
Once the brief is confirmed, we begin modelling and rendering. You’ll receive an initial draft for review, and we’ll refine the mood, materials, lighting, and details from there. Two rounds of revisions are typically included, but we tailor the process depending on your project’s complexity and needs.

Deliver & Impress
You’ll receive high-quality, ready-to-use visuals, formatted for planning submissions, client decks, sales launches or internal reviews. Always polished, always on point.

Discover & Define

We begin with an initial consultation to understand what you need, what you expect, and how we can help. We’ll talk through your goals, timeline, style preferences, and budget. If needed, we’ll carry out a site survey or request accurate measurements. This helps us define a tailored brief — whether it’s a full home transformation or a single-room refresh.

Design & Develop

With the brief agreed, we create moodboards, layouts, materials palettes and FF&E, selections, all refined with your input at each stage. We make sure the design reflects your lifestyle and elevates the space with personality.

Deliver & Impress
We provide you with final layout plans, detailed schedules, and styling documentation. We can also assist with sourcing, supplier communication, or coordination with contractors, as hands-on as you need us to be.
